Belding, Preston |
8 |
F3 |
Ohio boy. A whopping 2 points this
year. In danger of reassignment to equipment manager next year if
production doesn't improve. |
Benninger, Steve |
5 |
C1 |
Captain Chaos - Coming off a serious ankle
injury. Will be helped by the presence of McDonald on his line for the
2nd year in a row. Expect him to gut it out and lead in scoring. |
Channer, Dwight |
42 |
F3 |
Huge production last year. The surprise
of the tournament. Moving to the Macaskill / Belding line to try to
generate some scoring from those two grinders. |
Fidler, Terry |
71 |
C2 |
For the Chaos to repeat, he will have to show
up for every game and keep his shifts shorter. Neither is
likely. |
Kappler, Brian |
7 |
F2 |
The Chaos GM proved that he is more than a
ponderous, lumbering right winger by scoring 1 whole goal and getting 4
whole assists. Can he do it again? Not likely. He is a year
older. |
Kinlin, Peter |
6 |
D |
At one time, this Canadian was a huge
contributor. Last year he nearly contributed to the death of Captain
Chaos and JOEY. If he brings a bottle of Scotch this year, expect the
serious Chaos players like McDonald to kick his butt back to Ohio. |
Krizek, Joey |
80 |
G |
A - Will JOEY show up? B - Will he
spend the weekend with the ladies? C - Will he spend the weekend doing
the cat back? The smart money is on C. |
Lipskie, Brad |
22 |
D |
Lipskie gave the lip to a few opponents last
year. He is obviously the enforcer on the team. Count on him for
a stellar performance and to work with McDonald to keep everyone on the Chaos
in-line. |
Lovell, Andy |
13 |
D |
Andy who? The former Apollo 13
astronaut doesn't have much speed, but he always has fun out on the ice.
He is likely to repeat last year's performance. |
Macaskill, Mike |
3 |
C3 |
The leader of the grind line this year, he is
coming off a strong performance last year. If he doesn't cause
problems for the opposition with his scoring, he will cause problems with
his chirping lip. |
McDonald, Pete |
4 |
F1 |
Private Pete is coming off his strongest
performance ever. The 2nd leading scorer demolished the over/under
number and helped the Captain to dominate. The consummate team
player, he played a half a period on Defense with Lipske and scored on a
rocket from just outside the circle. The rumor is that Lipske is
lobbying to have McDonald as his Defense partner in Niagara Falls. |
Sandstrom, Eric |
15 |
D |
Eric is one of the most versatile players on
the team. He can score no points from either Offense or Defense.
Expect Eric to do his usual stellar job documenting the post game parties
with his toy camera, sitting in the penalty box for a few minutes a game,
and giggling like a schoolgirl at the post-game meetings. |
Stachowski, Jim |
|
|
Jim exemplified the moral fiber of the Chaos
team when he dumped his beer on the Captain's Mom. Nice job Jimmy.
Pure class. Last year, Jim was the undisputed Euchre
King. It is too bad for the Chaos that he can't play hockey as
well as he plays Euchre. This year Jim is on injured reserve. The Chaos
can fill his jersey with just about anyone who owns a pair of skates and a
helmet. |
Totzke, Jay |
2 |
F2 |
Along with Captain Chaos, Jay is the heart of
the team and for the Chaos to win, he will have to put the puck in the net.
This will be a huge challenge this year with Kappler on his line. He was
last year's hero scoring the game winner with 7.9 seconds left. |
Wagy, Rich |
10 |
D |
Wagy plans a return to the Chaos this year.
Always a strong force on D, he can be counted on to generate a few power
plays for the opponents and generate significant business for the local
breweries. |
White, Dave |
11 |
F1 |
White is looking to replace Dwight on the top
line. He is big, but painfully slow. Odds are he will be moved
to the 3rd line. Last played for the Chaos in 2002 - the year they
fell from the top. Coincidence? Hardly. The Chaos will
have to work hard to overcome his return to the team. |
