| A great hockey player is always paying
attention.
Pucks can fly into the bench and hit you. Shots can
bounce off your legs and knock you down. Hacks on the other team may
try to chop you down.
Do not let any of this happen to you. Pay attention.
Watch what is going on. If you don't, you could end up like Ryan McGeeney.
Ryan was not paying attention at a javelin event.
Now that is one place where you really should be paying attention. He
wasn't and look what happened. A javelin right through his leg.
I think it probably hurt pretty bad, but I'm not sure.
In any case, we can learn a lesson from him. Pay
attention, so you do not get hurt. Obviously he is not a hockey
player. Can you imaging a real hockey player having go to to the
hospital for 13 lousy stitches? A hockey player may have missed a
shift or two depending on the speed of the doctor. But that's all. |
