Reason:
Before the start of the 1984 NBA Playoffs a reporter
asked Moses Malone how he thought the 76ers would do.
Malone replied "Fo, fo, fo." The reporter
didn't understand and asked him to repeat what he said.
Malone said, "Fo, fo, fo." The reporter
still didn't get it so he asked "What?"
This time Moses raised 4 fingers and exclaimed, "Fo,
Fo, Fo!" He was predicting that the 76ers
would sweep each round of the playoffs. In the end
the 76ers went "Fo, Fi, Fo" and won the NBA
Championship, but the audacity of the "Fo, fo, fo"
call lives on.
