| You would not normally think
that a super hockey team like the Chaos would be able to learn much from
an 86 year old man. Not so. This year we
can learn a lot from a man named Leroy Leutscher. Poor Leroy was
just not very careful. Don't ask me why an 86 year old man is
playing with pruning shears but obviously this was not a good idea.
A Chaos player must always be careful. Why? Because if you
get hurt, there will be somebody to take your place. The Chaos
must go on and we will go on without you if you are not careful.
There are other lessons to be learned here
too. One that I picked up is to NEVER WORK IN THE
YARD. It is way too dangerous. Better to play
hockey, or even just sit on the couch and drink beer. Do not
go where the pruning shears are stored. In fact, throw away the
damned things. Then you will not have to worry about this
happening to you. If your yard needs work, hire somebody
else to do it while you work on your slap shot in the basement.
But be careful with that too. Make sure you always put a big
mattress in front of the water pipe. |
