Pete McDonald
For the love of the game

This was a tough one.  We could call it Dedication, Ignore Pain, Sacrifice.  We could also call it insanity, stupidity and downright foolishness.

But no, this man is something special.  He simply loves the game of hockey and the Chaos weekend with his teammates.  So far, nothing has been able to stop him.  Sure he might miss once in a while but only because he is in a near coma.  If he can be there, he will be there.  Why, He simply loves the game.

Nobody has had to overcome more than Pete. Torn ACL, Ripped off Bicep, Broken Collarbone, Rotator Cuff Repair .... The list goes on and on.  Each time,  he makes a miraculous  recovery.   Each time he raises the bar for the entire sports world.

Last year was another incredible recovery ... for the love of the game.  A mere 8 weeks after his rotator cuff repair, not only had he already played golf, but he was back on the ice leading his Sunday Sharks team to a playoff berth.    A boxer, Manny Pacquiao, needs a year to recover from his rotator cuff injury.    By Pete's standards, that is simply pitiful.  He is a loser.  No wonder he lost the big fight.    No question about it ... the Chaos are fortunate to have someone as tough as Pete on the team.

This is not the first time he recovered faster than a so-called world class athlete.  Here is the news from when he blew away Yzerman.
